2004

VALUE FOR MONEY

We are due to relocate this year, so by cutting our 2004 transported semen stud fees, we aim to encourage mare owners to use our stallions with transported semen. This means using your vet to inseminate your mare at home or at their insemination centre, or taking your mare to one of our carefully selected regional studs where your mare (and foal) should benefit from the level of care and expertise that you would expect if she were visiting Maximillian Stud. For those of you who want to send your mare to us, we will still be able to take a limited number of mares.

Cost Effective

If you’ve not used transported chilled semen before, or had a bad experience, do not be put off! Please read our section on A.I. as it runs through what happens. Believe me, it really is very cost effective, with fixed price packages starting from as little as £200 and frequently being more successful than natural covering.

Saluut - Frozen Semen Only

Saluut is 28 years old this year and although in robust health, the quality of his fresh and chilled semen does not now consistently meet our high standards, so he’ll only be available by frozen semen. The semen is of excellent quality, having been frozen a number of years ago by Martin Boyle who is the leader in this field. Fixed price frozen semen packages start from as little as £250.

Breed Passports
Sport Horse Breeding (GB) covering certificates will be issued for both Saluut and Voltucky. Saluut's covering certificates can also be used to register the foal with the BWBS. Please note that valid service vouchers issued by SHB (GB) can be used against Saluut’s and Voltucky's stud fees. -
